A Newcomer
My name is Shelly, and I am a newcomer to the world of blogging. I chose the name Tidbits because the definition on dictionary.com states that a tidbit is a pleasing bit of something such as news. That's what I would like my blog to be - a pleasant way to communicate with colleagues, friends, family, and fellow bloggers. Talk to you soon!

Nice job of customizing your tidbits, Shelly. I have three grown sons, too: Josh, Ben, a third year surgical resident and graduate of WVSOM, and Derrick, back at Marshall after some wild-oats-sowing. Alisha finalized our family when Josh was 7 years old. She works for One Force Staffing in Columbus Ohio.
I became a teacher to "pay back" some of the selfless teachers who made the difference between surviving and thriving for my children, especially Josh, the consummate underachiever when he was in school.
